A Latin & Brazilian jazz approach to guitar and bass. Students will learn about the groove, chord progression shapes, and improvising in a Latin/Brazilian-styled like Bossa Nova, Latin Funk, etc, Let’s have fun!

Musician's Biography:
Italian-Paraguayan guitarist Orlando Bonzi is considered to be one of the best virtuoso guitarists in Spain. His versatile musical styles
includes Jazz, rock, funk, Latin, Brazilian, Fusion, pop, blues, folklore, world music, and R&B. His international background has influenced his music and led him to perform in many cities/countries: Paraguay, Brazil, New York, Argentina, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Japan, Norway, and Spain. Brazil is the place that nurtured his musical growth, nearly ten years of studying and working, he has played with top Brazilian musicians namely Filó Marchado, Marcelo Mariano, Raul de Souza, and important singer-songwriter Guilherme Rondon. As a producer he has produced many artists in Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. In 2013 he recorded album “Recurso Natural” in São Paulo, Brazil, aims at spreading the message about preserving our precious nature.

Since 2014, he and his violinist wife have relocated to Spain, to further develop their inspiration
of music and career. Their group name Symbiosis Strings, means different kinds of string instruments combine perfectly to produce a nice and special sound.

He described his new Jazz project “Jazz del Sur”, (Jazz from the south), a mixture of modern Jazz and folklore music from South America and South Europe, and he has played with
world famous European musicians from US, Spain and France, such as Jeff Ballard, Gary Willis, Gergo Borlai, Perico Sambeat, Stephane Adsuar and Damien Varaillon.
